Our department is situated in Saint's Barbara Specialistic Hospital no 5 in Sosnowiec, Silesia. It is an expanded facility which main profile is therapy of multiple organ trauma. Large diagnostic possibilities, and cooperation of all departments, are contributing to its effectivity.

We specialise in multiple trauma and colorectal surgery as well as gastrointestinal (including liver, and pancreas surgery), oncological and glands surgery. We use classical techniques such as laparotomy as well as modern ones i.e. laparoscopy, transanal endoscopic microsurgery, termoablation. We put an instatnt effort on increasing the therapy quality. Our Department is a part of Silesian Medical University.
